Performing your banking transactions can be easily done from the comfort of your home. Through Al Mubasher Retail, Al Rajhi Bank’s online banking application, you can view account statements, transfer money, send remittances, configure standing orders, maintain your credit cards, make investments, pay your utility bills and government fees and even add beneficiaries or utility bills to make transfers and payments.
As a valued customer you can get this service free of charge. There’s no need to visit a branch, rather you can perform your banking transactions through this service in a secure BS 7799 certified environment.
Al Mubasher is continuously updated and enhanced with the latest state-of-the-art technology. The following are some of the features offered to our customers through Al Mubasher Retail Version 3.6:
Account Statements
Al Mubasher Retail allows you to view the statement of accounts and export them to Excel or PDF format for your records. You can also use various search techniques for viewing specific transactions by applying different search criteria, like searching by date, amount and by transaction type.
Al Mubasher Retail even allows you to view your financial position and evaluate your assets and liabilities. You can even give online instructions to the bank to issue you a cheque book and collect it later from your branch at your convenience. If you lose your cheque book or you want to cancel or stop a cheque, just log on to Al Mubasher and instantly save yourself any potential risk of financial loss.
You can even add remarks to your transactions to keep track of your financial activities, these remarks are stored in Al Mubasher Retail and are for your eyes only.
Credit Card Statements
Al Mubasher allows you to view your credit card statements, available credit balances and last performed transactions to track your spending. You can settle your credit card bill online by transferring the required amount from your current account easily, thereby reducing the time and effort of heading to a branch. You can even make advance payments to settle your bill ahead of time.
If your card is lost or stolen, just login to Al Mubasher and instantly stop the card to avoid any unauthorized transactions. Al Mubasher also allows you to view your reward points on every Al Rajhi Bank credit card belonging to you or your spouse.
Al Mubasher lets you request different types of Al Rajhi Bank credit cards and pick them up from a branch near you after submitting the relevant supporting documents.
Transfers
Through Al Mubasher, using state-of-the-art, secure and fast transfer facilities, you can transfer amounts within your own accounts and to beneficiaries inside and outside the Kingdom with just a click of a button.
You can even add a beneficiary from Al Mubasher Retail without the need to visit an Al Rajhi Bank branch or ATM. Beneficiaries can be added by simply clicking on the “Add Beneficiary” link in the Transfers section of Al Mubasher. (see how to add a beneficiary)
International beneficiaries can be added by visiting the nearest Tahweel Al Rajhi branch to make the initial transfer, later the beneficiary will always appear in Al Mubasher Retail and you will be able to make instant transfers online.
While making international transfers you have a choice of making a transfer either in base currency (Saudi Riyal) or beneficiary currency (foreign currency). The system will calculate the corresponding amount and display the rate for your approval prior to making the transfer.
Standing Orders
You no longer need a reminder for your important recurring payments like your children's school fees or your monthly Sports Club membership fee. Just login to Al Mubasher, set your standing orders and let the bank take care of the rest. You can specify standing orders for all recurring payments or any future payments that you want to make at any specific date. In order to initiate a standing order, all you need to have is an Express Remittance Card issued to you from any Tahweel Al Rajhi Branch.
Utility Bills Payment
Why wait in queues to pay for your utility bills? With a click of a button, you can pay them all at once. Through Al Rajhi Bank’s Al Mubasher Retail internet banking service, pay electricity, water, and telephone bills as well as various other payments like KAU, CITC, and Municipality bills easily.
Just add your bills through Al Mubasher Retail by clicking the "Add Bills" link in the Utility Bills section, and you’re ready to go.
Investments
Your Mutual Funds and subscriptions to IPO's can be handled easily through Al Rajhi Bank’s Al Mubasher Services. Keep track of your investments, monitor and perform all your investment transactions from the comfort of your home. With the Al Mubasher Retail IPO Services feature you can easily subscribe to or sell existing IPO's.
Register for Mutual Funds online without the need to visit an investment branch. Once registered, you can submit a variety of orders like subscribing, redeeming and switching mutual funds. You can also view statements, price lists, order summaries and even modify orders that have not been executed in the market. With Al Mubasher’s convenience, you can invest from the comfort of your home.
Government Payments
Paying for Government fees requires a lot of effort, whether heading to branches, or to Government offices.
In our efforts to serve you better, we’ve created a convenient way for you to pay your government payments by just logging in to Al Mubasher. Through Al Mubasher, you can pay for Expatriate Passport Services, Saudi Passport Services, Visa fees, Traffic Department fees (vehicle registration, License fees, and traffic violations), Civil services fees such as Marriage and Divorce registration, Birth registration and payments for ID cards.
Jawal Al Rajhi
An SMS Banking service offered by Al Rajhi Bank to its customers, Jawal Al Rajhi allows you to perform transactions on your account, using your mobile, through SMS messaging. You can also define certain alerts to be sent to you based on activities performed on your account. (See "Jawal Al Rajhi" section to know more about this service).
One Time Password
Al Rajhi Bank has implemented "One Time Password" in Al Mubasher Retail in order to make your financial transactions more secure.
One Time Password, also known as OTP, is valid for certain time duration (7 Minutes) and is sent to your mobile when you attempt to add a "Beneficiary" or "Bill" (Utility Bill in transfers / subscriber number in utility bills) or perform a transaction (Prepaid Cards). Once the password is successfully used it becomes obsolete. For the next transaction another password will be sent to your mobile phone.
How to add your Mobile Number
In order to receive an OTP, your mobile number must be added through an Al Rajhi Bank ATM. This is required only once, later whenever necessary, the bank will SMS the password to your specified mobile number. To add your mobile number, visit any Al Rajhi Bank ATM, and follow these steps:
1. Insert you ATM card in the ATM machine
2. Select your preferred language
3. Enter your ATM PIN
4. The ATM screen will appear indicating all options
5. Press "Other Operations"
6. On the next screen press "Mailing Address"
7. The screen will show your current mobile number if it exists in the system; otherwise you may need to specify your mobile number
8. The following screen will ask you to confirm the mobile number
9. Upon confirmation the mobile number will be stored in the system.
Now, you can make all your transactions after entering your password through Al Mubasher Retail
How to Add a Beneficiary for Transfers
In order to Add a beneficiary you need to do the following;
1. Select the transfer type (You are allowed to add beneficiaries with Al Rajhi Bank accounts and Local Bank accounts only, International Beneficiaries can only be added through Tahweel Al Rajhi Branches)
2. Click the “Add Beneficiary” link
3. Password screen will appear, insert the password sent to your mobile phone
4. Specify beneficiary details (Account Number, Name, Branch etc)
5. Confirm the beneficiary details
6. Beneficiary will be added instantly to your beneficiary list
How to Add a Utility Bill
1. Select the account to which you want to add the Utility Bills to
2. Click Add Utility Bill link
3. Password screen will appear, insert the password sent to your mobile phone
4. Specify the subscriber number
5. Select the utility provider name from the list
6. Confirm the Utility Bill details
7. Utility Bill will be added to your Utility Bills list instantly
How to Apply
Registration to Al Mubasher Retail is free for all Al Rajhi Bank current account holders. You do not have to visit the branch to register to Al Mubasher. Instead, you can do it online through Al Rajhi Bank’s website.
To register online through our website you would require the following;
1. An account with Al Rajhi Bank
2. Your valid ATM card number and its PIN number
3. Computer and Internet Connection
