As part of this year’s social responsibility initiatives, and to raise financial and fraud control literacy amongst students, Al Rajhi Bank, in coordination with secondary schools, held awareness lectures on financial and fraud risks this November in five secondary schools with more than 140 students in attendance in Riyadh.
The Bank's Anti-Fraud Administration volunteered to provide educational material and visit schools to implement this initiative. Participating teachers and students interacted throughout the lectures, extended thanks to the bank, and expressed wishes for future communication between the bank and schools for further activate student extracurricular activities.
The Bank is keen to provide this type of programs because of the importance of its social role especially in activities that increase awareness. Also, the Bank continuously seeks to strengthen bonds between Bank and the community and enhance the relationship between employees and community members.
It is worth mentioning that this initiative is one of the many 2017 social responsibility programs that relate to the sustainable programs starting in Riyadh. In the coming years, the Bank aspires to extend participation to the rest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to create a financially conscious generation capable of distinguishing between truth and fraud.
