Al Rajhi Bank will participate at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals’ Career Day, which kicked off yesterday, Monday, and will carry on until December 21. In a designated booth, Al Rajhi bank recruitment officials will meet with graduates to answer inquiries, provide training and work opportunities, and brief them on a career in banking.
Al Rajhi bank, a highly desired career option for graduates, offers rewarding career opportunities for those graduating from business administration, engineering, mathematics, English language, information technology, banking and executive secretary. Within these areas, the banks seeks to attract the elite. Al Rajhi Bank is a permanent partner of Career Day at King Fahd University, which is one of the oldest and most important career days in the Kingdom.
Mr. Khalid Al Huzaim, Chief Human Resources Officer, stated, "Al-Rajhi Bank's continuous participation at special events for graduates in educational institutions reflects its role as a permanent shareholder in the training and recruitment of both male and female Saudi cadres year after year. He continued by explaining the Bank continues to attract the elite whom are interested in a career at the largest, most prevalent Saudi Bank. Mr. Al Huzaim also pointed to the success of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in producing distinguished graduates because of its well know high level of academia.
Al Huzaim stressed that Al Rajhi Bank aspires to become “Employer of choice” a notion included in the bank’s strategic plan and main HR initiatives. Several plans and programs have been prepared and implemented to retain outstanding employees, create an accomplishing working environment and encourage creativity and continuous improvement. It also implemented talent assessment tools for public administration and branch network employees to identify talent and build career succession plans. In addition, to executing leading labor market programs such as the GDP program which builds future bank leaders. The bank received awards in 2016 and 2017 for having one of the best working environments in the Gulf.
The bank is focusing on improving the proportion of Saudi women in the work force over the coming years. Today the Bank employees 1,250 women in increase of 15% of the previous year.
