A group of Al Rajhi Bank employees (both men and women) distributed food excesses to those in need in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Jubail and Al Ahsa, as part of the Bank’s 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility program, in association with the Food Association (Eta’am), that will last for one year, God willing.
The staff visited the association’s headquarters and sat in on a brief explanation about the latter’s activities as well as got to know the organization’s work process. Al Rajhi employees visited those in need in their place of residence and proceeded in the distribution of food excesses.
The Bank’s volunteers were overwhelmed with joy towards their contribution and year-long partnership with Eta’am for the chance to provide the largest number of employees that will contribute to this noble volunteering program. The staff also praised the association’s activities and expressed their excitement to help out in any way they can, whether in stocking food or distributing it to those in need, in their place of residence. We believe that the Bank’s employees should be committed in providing this type of business to make sure that all those in need are attended to, in the best way possible.
The Eta’am Food Association is a non-profit organization specializing in the provision of food with a goal to eliminate shortages and reduce food surpluses by applying the international idea of Food Banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a professional manner that preserves the privacy of those who benefit and society as a whole.
Al Rajhi Bank’s efforts are in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to reach one million volunteers and aligns with the society’s nature and culture to promote the spirit of solidarity in the public’s interest. The latter falls under the 2019 year-long Corporate Social Responsibility and volunteering programs, as part of the many that serve the entirety of the Kingdom.
