A number of Al Rajhi Bank employees in Makkah participated in providing water to the pilgrims, a campaign organized by the Bank after obtaining all the necessary permits in the holy sites. This program comes within the social initiatives and voluntary work that the Bank is keen to activate and involve the employees in implementing them.
The employees of the bank distributed 1000 cartons of water per day to the pilgrims from the 8th until the end of the 11th of Dhul Hijjah 1439 AH in the holy sites of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah; including the first and second day of Eid al-Adha. Many of the pilgrims and volunteer teams present appraise the initiative of the bank in these virtuous days and this great global gathering.
The Ambassador of social responsibility to the bank in Mecca, Mr. Abdullah Al Shehri, and his volunteers expressed their great joy and desire to implement more of these programs that reflect the interest of the Bank and its employees and their interaction with all events and occasions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The volunteers, led by the Social Responsibility Ambassador, spent most of their time during the pilgrimage campaign with the pilgrims in these holy lands, even though it was during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
It is worth mentioning that this activity is one of the voluntary contributions during this year 2018 in the field of social responsibility and volunteer work; this work is beneficial in strengthening the relationship between the employees of the bank and the community, which is an integral part of the relationship between the bank and the community.
