For the third year in a row, Al Rajhi Bank organizes a volunteering campaign to repaint and fix a number of houses for those in need in Khamis Mushait and Arar. The latter is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs, in line with this year’s plan to repaint and renovate houses in 7 cities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The plan, so far adopted in Jizan, Ha’il, Khamis Mushait and Arar, will also be implemented in two additional cities by the end of the year 2019, God Willing.
A group of employees at the bank have volunteered to make this campaign happen in the cities of Khamis Mushait and Arar. Home owners were previously notified in preparation for the renovations and visited the bank’s employees to mark their participation in the program. Simple house renovations and painting were done in the houses by specialists in the field. Employees also took part in the final stages.
Home owners, present at the site, expressed their gratitude towards the bank’s initiative. Volunteers also felt the importance of their participation for the good of the community; an event that encouraged them to take part in the bank’s future programs.
It is also important to note that Al Rajhi Bank has organized a number of CSR programs this year, and has focused on the involvement of its employees in volunteer work, so that they can proudly share the bank’s beliefs and entrust them with the same spirit of entrepreneurship and contribution as well as introduce them to social causes.
