As a part of its social responsibility program, Al Rajhi Bank organized a full program to observe International Child Cancer Day. Its objective was to engage its male and female employees in a series of voluntary activities across the cities of Riyadh, Asir and Jeddah.
The program included a number of activities such as competitions, educational projects and entertainment activities. Participants visited the patients, provided gifts and spent quality time interacting with them. The Al Rajhi Bank team communicated with the patients and played with them as well.
The volunteers were extremely happy to have partaken in the event. It served as a productive opportunity and allowed the bank and employees to give back to the society.
This program was part of Al Rajhi Bank’s efforts to amplify its social responsibility and voluntary efforts. Al Rajhi Bank is keen to contribute to the Saudi 2030 Vision that aims to host 1 million volunteers by the year 2030. Al Rajhi aims to be an inspirational example to the Saudi community and continue building the prevalent culture that encourages unity and social work.
It’s worth mentioning that the program is a part of the bank’s social responsibility activities and voluntary work that it aims to deliver in 2018. As corporate social responsibility is a major part of Al Rajhi’s business strategy, this day also marks the introduction of several other similar initiatives. It will help cater to the diverse needs of different segments of the society throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
