The Executive Vice President of Infrastructure at the Saudi Railway Company (SAR), Eng. Khalid Al Sultan inaugurated the new Al Rajhi Bank branch at SAR Railway Station in Riyadh in the presence of Mr. Saleh Abdullah Alzumaie, General Manager of Al Rajhi Bank Retail Banking Group and a number of SAR and bank officials.
On the occasion, SAR's executive vice president stated, the inauguration of the bank's branch in the passenger terminal is one of the services offered to travelers and visitors, noting the various modern services and new technologies provided by the branch to customers.
Eng. Al Sultan explained that SAR aims to provide all the necessary services to travelers and visitors to the currently operating stations in Riyadh, Al Majmaa, Qassim and recently Hail. In addition to Al Jawf and Al Qurayat stations set to begin operations during the first half of 2018.
Mr. Saleh Abdullah Alzumaie commented during the inauguration on the Bank’s keenness to be present at SAR train station to provide services and products to passengers, transits and visitors. The launch of this giant development project in particular was a start to serve both the community and the transportation sector.
He pointed out that this branch is part of a strategic partnership with SAR. The first phase includes the launch of three branches in Riyadh, Qassim and Al Majmaa. He continued to explain the SAR branch would contain a team of Saudi youth trained to provide all services as per the “comprehensive employee” concept to serve travelers and their families and station visitors.
The design of The SAR Al Rajhi branch is modern to emulate that of the station - designed and implemented at the highest of international standard. The branch also included special geometric touches that align with the general feel of the station.
The new branch includes one interactive ATM and three ATMs. In the coming days, a self-service platform will be added to carry out various banking operations such as issuance of ATM cards and check books as well as online banking services, printing customer statements and opening new accounts and other non-cash services. The branch also provides complete financial services, personal, car and home finance products, cards, opening current accounts and all cash related services.
Al Rajhi Bank has the largest network of branches in the Kingdom at 590 branches and 233 remittance centers. It also has the largest ATM network with more than 4700 ATMs, and over 70 thousand POS devices. Al Rajhi Bank was first to introduce the self-service machine in the KSA, which have now reached over 150 devices in all regions of the Kingdom.
