Last Monday, the National Developmental Housing Foundation, Sakan, recognized alrajhi bank as one of the largest donors to the foundation's Jood Housing platform. This event took place during a visit to the bank's general management tower in Riyadh by senior officials from the foundation and the platform to discuss future collaboration.

In the presence of officials from both sides, Dr. Imad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Sagheer, Secretary-General of the National Development Housing Foundation, presented the honorary shield to Mr. Majid Saleh Al Rajhi, General Manager of Retail Banking, who represented the bank on this occasion.

alrajhi bank is one of the largest donors to the Jood Housing platform, donating 40 million riyals upon its launch to purchase prefabricated homes for 222 families of the neediest Saudi families as part of the bank's sustainable social responsibility programs in the sectors of education, health, and housing.

The bank also promised to pay the costs of an entire block within the Jood Golden Plan, worth one million riyals, in order to secure 20 homes for needy families during the current fiscal year.

The bank has provided the National Development Housing Foundation with a special partnership with the Mokafaa program, which includes the opportunity for the bank's customers to donate the points earned from Mokafaa in favor of developmental housing, in order to engage customers in its social programs. This represents a collaborative effort by members of the community and the banking system to serve the foundation's goals of providing housing for the needy.

Employees of alrajhi bank donated to buy a house for one of the cases presented by Jood Housing platform in its campaign "Jood Employees". Through this, the platform encourages employees of the Kingdom's business sectors to participate in the purchase of housing for the most needy families throughout the Kingdom. A home was purchased for a family of seven in desperate need of shelter.

The contributions of alrajhi bank to this sector reflect the importance of specialized social programs in the housing sector. It also highlights the importance of the private sector's contribution to supporting government efforts in this field and is an extension of the bank's leading role in social responsibility through many sustainable projects to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
