Alrajhi bank sponsors the Saudi Cup international horse race competition

alrajhi bank signed a sponsorship agreement for the "Saudi Cup" 2023, for horse racing in its fourth edition, which is the most expensive horse race in the world with total prizes exceeding $35 million, which is held under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud under the slogan "We Race the World”.

Under the agreement, the bank will be the platinum partner of the Saudi Cup for the third year in a row.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdullah bin Saad Al-Jabr, Chief of Marketing and Customer Experience in alrajhi bank, and Mr. Ziyad Al-Muqrin, CEO of the Horse Racing Club.

The Saudi Race will be organized by the Horse Racing Club on Friday and Saturday, February 24 and 25, in King AbdulAziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh, with international participation from 22 countries, and a total request for participation amounted to 1,400 requests.

The slogan "Race the World" was chosen in this edition to embody the Kingdom's ambitious vision that is racing the world with the efforts of the sons and daughters of this country, in order to achieve the goals of the vision that would increase the Kingdom's status at the international level under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince. By sponsoring the most valuable horse race in the world, a remarkable international event that’s considered a noteworthy achievement for the Kingdom, alrajhi bank seeks to play a significant role in promoting Saudi Arabia at an international level. This sponsorship will also support the transformational journey to attract tourism and investment as per the Saudi Vision 2030 It’s worth mentioning that alrajhi bank had sponsored the same race in its second and third editions, which achieved an unparalleled global and local presence.
