In observance of *World Childhood Cancer Day and in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, alrajhi bank organized a volunteer visit to King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh, in collaboration with the “Power” team. The initiative aimed to support children battling cancer and bring joy and comfort to their hearts and fami-lies.

The visit included 27 young patients receiving treatment at the medical city, where alrajhi bank volunteers and a member of the “Power” team distributed gifts and exchanged Ramadan greetings in a warm, uplifting atmosphere filled with compassion, positivity, and hope. The initiative succeeded in bringing happiness to the children and their families, creating moments of connection and kindness.

The campaign also saw engagement from alrajhi bank’s customers, who contributed donations to the *Sanad Children’s Cancer Support Association*, demonstrating growing community awareness and active participation in humanitarian initiatives.

This initiative falls within a broader series of activities launched by alrajhi bank to support patients and their families on World Childhood Cancer Day, reaffirming the bank’s deep-rooted commitment to social respon-sibility and its continued role as an active partner in community development. It reflects the humanitarian essence that the bank strives to integrate into its strategy through targeted initiatives that support the most vulnerable groups and promote the values of compassion and solidarity – particularly during occasions with strong social and humanitarian significance.

World Childhood Cancer Day, marked annually on February 15, aims to raise awareness about the disease and to support affected children, survivors, and their families. The global campaign advocates for early diag-nosis and effective treatment of childhood cancer, which affects approximately 400,000 children and ado-lescents under the age of 20 every year.

Through its volunteer programs and community initiatives, alrajhi bank continues to foster a culture of vol-unteerism among its employees and strengthen its role as a development partner contributing to social well-being – in alignment with the objectives of *Saudi Vision 2030* for social responsibility and sustainable development.
