Al Rajhi Bank obtains the International ISO Certificate in Business Continuity

Al Rajhi Bank has recently obtained the international certificate from Intertek for the Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301:2019) after a comprehensive review and audit of the bank’s strategies and plans in managing crises, unplanned events and incidents as well as customer service continuity, and ensured that they comply with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Al Rajhi Bank has recently obtained the international certificate from Intertek for the Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301:2019) after a comprehensive review and audit of the bank’s strategies and plans in managing crises, unplanned events and incidents as well as customer service continuity, and ensured that they comply with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The certificate confirms that Al Rajhi Bank follows a clear methodology that enables it to identify risks and set appropriate controls to manage them, and to adopt a preventive approach to reduce the impact of accidents to the lowest level. It also helps the bank to ensure the continuity of business and the main services in the bank in times of crises and contributes to reducing work stoppages to the lowest level upon exposure to any accidents. This is in addition to raising the ability to meet business requirements and obtain new investment opportunities.

The bank was able to achieve this accomplishment through continuous planning and diligent work to emphasize on business continuity in preparation to tackle any possible challenges, the top of which is often ensuring the safety of employees on the one hand and ensuring the continued access of the bank's clients to basic services without interruption on the other hand.
