Wage Protection System

This service enables payroll clients to send WPS files to “Mudad” platform automatically.
The service relies on a technical integration between the bank’s systems and Mudad, where the bank uploads the WPS file on behalf of the client as soon as it is generated, automatically to Mudad, instead of the client downloading the file from the bank’s digital channels and then uploading it manually to  Mudad platform.

1. Service Description

1.1 The automatic upload service for WPS files is available to all clients subscribed to the payroll service. Clients may use this service to send any WPS file automatically to Mudad.

1.2 The automatic upload service enables the bank to upload WPS files to the Mudad platform on behalf of clients in an automated manner.

1.3 Upon the bank receives of the response from beneficiaries’; banks regarding the status of transfer transactions executed within the payroll file, the automatic upload process will be activated within five (5) business days from the date the client completes the payroll upload through the bank’s digital business channels. The client is fully responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all payroll data submitted.

1.4 The bank acts solely as an intermediary and does not assume responsibility for verifying the content of payroll files.

2. Subscription and Fees

2.1 A fee of (60 SAR VAT included) applies to the first file of each month, and no additional fees are charged for subsequent files within the same month.

2.2 Service fees will deduct from the same account that the payroll file is processed form.

 

3. Client Obligations and Responsibilities

3.1 The client is solely responsible for complying with the regulations and rules governing the Wages Protection System (WPS) applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

3.2 The bank does not guarantee that Mudad will accept the WPS files and is not liable for any penalties resulting from file rejection or upload delays.

3.3 The bank is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect payroll data provided by the client.

3.4 In the event of a system malfunction, the client must manually upload the WPS file to Mudad.

 

4. Service Failure and Dispute Resolution

4.1 If the automatic upload of the WPS file fails, the client will be notified and must upload the file manually.

4.2 The client must report and issues related to upload failures or rejections must be reported within five (5) business days from the date of notification.

4.3 The bank will make reasonable efforts to assist clients with inquiries related to compliance.
