The previous month has been a breakthrough for Al Rajhi Bank. The institute bagged 6 awards that added to the bank’s international record of laurels, awards, and certificates. Amongst the six awards secured, two awards belonged to the 2019 Cash Management Survey conducted by Euromoney Magazine, while the remaining 4 awards were presented by Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA).
Every year, Euromoney Magazine conducts an annual survey to determine the best cash management service providers across the globe. The highly skilled cash managers, finance experts, and treasurers have the opportunity to give their feedback on services received. This year, over 25 thousand clients participated in the survey where Al Rajhi Bank was bestowed with two Cash Management Awards from Euromoney Magazine.
Furthermore, Al Rajhi also stood out with its fair share of accomplishments in the Investor Relations field. We received 4 awards during the annual ceremony of the Middle East Investor Relations Associations MEIRA, held recently in Dubai.
Al Rajhi Bank won the grand prize where it was named the Leading Corporate for Investor Relations in the Middle East. The Group’s Chief Financial Officer Mr. Abdullah Al-Khalifa also won the best Investor Relations Managers in the Middle East.
The bank also received an award for the best Investor Relations Leader in Saudi Arabia, while the Investor Relation Manager was named the best investor relations expert in Saudi Arabia.
The Middle East Investor Relations Association's annual conference is the largest investor relations event in the region. The conference attracts more than 120 industry leaders, regulators, stock exchange experts, and representatives of MEIRA member companies. The event celebrates the achievements of the winners in three major categories: Best Investor Relations Teams, Annual Reports, and Investor Relations Websites in the Middle East.
MEIRA collaborated with the research firm, Extel Surveys, for the selection of best practices category winners. For this award, the annual Investor Relations Awards plan is implemented through surveys with the investment companies, and then the results are distributed to Non-Profit Organizations and other Regional Associations.
Every year, leading buy and sell analysts are invited to participate in the survey of the investor relations performance for the companies listed in the Middle East, where all awards follow the same criteria.
