As a part of its strategy to expand the digital banking services, Al Rajhi Bank introduced the new check printing service via self-service machines ‘ASRAA’. The new technology is completely secure and it aims at meeting the needs of the customers, decreasing the need to withdraw large amounts of cash, and also contributes in transition of operations to the more advance electronic channels.

The new service is one of the many unique services Al Rajhi offers through ‘ASRAA’ self-servicing machines across the country, which reflects a role the bank plays as a pioneer in the world of self-service in the Middle East. It’s worth mentioning that Al Rajhi was the first bank in the Middle East to introduce the self-service banking solutions such as printing bank cards, bank checks and bank statements. Shortly after, the bank introduced the ATM card printing service via fingerprint technology, which is a proof of the bank’s well-deserved leadership in the customer service field.

The bank then added various services such as, renewing the national ID, printing the IBAN and updating the local address. The purpose of providing these services was always to facilitate the banking operations without having to visit the branches, which means a qualitative shift towards modern technology and providing better mechanisms in lesser time to increase the quality of customer support services.

The new check printing service can be provided instantly 24/7 without having to visit the branches, and is essentially easy, convenient and highly secured. This is a step to decrease the need to withdraw large amounts of cash when purchasing cars, paying school fees or rent, or other payments that require large amounts of money.

The new service is currently available at limited self-servicing machines, and will soon be provided through the network of 225 ASRAA self-servicing machines spread throughout the Kingdom, which is the largest self-service network in the Middle East in terms of availability and diversity in services.

It’s worth mentioning that Al Rajhi self-service machines have been widely accepted by the customers and have immensely contributed in raising the customer satisfaction levels.
