As one of its social responsibility programs this year, Al Rajhi Bank organized a comprehensive program on the World Kidney Day that included different voluntary activities for its (male & female) employees in Dammam, Tabuk and Jizan.
The program included recreational activities for the patients inside the hemodialysis center during their treatment. The employees spent quality time with them and gave them some gifts as well.
The volunteers expressed their great happiness participating in this event that brings them closer to their society, especially those who suffer and have to visit the hemodialysis centers several times a week and spend long hours on dialysis machines.
Al Rajhi’s effort in the voluntary work comes in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 that aims at having 1 million volunteers by the year 2030. In addition, Al Rajhi initiatives are consistent with the nature of the Saudi society and its culture that promotes cooperation, solidarity, and serving the common good.
It’s worth mentioning that the event came as one of the bank’s social responsibility programs and voluntary work initiatives for the year 2018. It is one of the many programs the bank has approved throughout the year to serve most of the community segments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
